My areas of family law focus and skill include LGBT divorces and custody disputes, enforcement cases, and facilitating same-sex and second-parent adoptions. I also speak fluent Farsi and am knowledgeable about the issues involved in multicultural marriages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Negotiate to reach a family law settlement out of court if possible<\/strong>&nbsp;and advocate zealously for clients in the courtroom when necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focus on each client&#8217;s unique situation<\/strong>, give clients a sense of worth and hope, and assure them that their issues matter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keep the future perspective in mind<\/strong>&nbsp;and urge clients to focus on what is most important and not react to what is happening just today.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Communicate clearly with clients<\/strong>, answer phone calls within 24 hours, and prioritize time for client concerns, particularly for sensitive family law matters such as custody modifications and suits affecting the parent-child relationship (SAPCRs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Featured Video<\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"embed-container video-single\"><iframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RDaGejzQhbI?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience and Professional Credentials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mona Hosseiny-Tovar has over eight years of experience with family law matters, including same-sex divorce, child support and custody, enforcements, same-sex adoptions, termination of parental rights, and family formation. Previously, Mona practiced immigration and criminal law in addition to family law and is experienced in managing these issues in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gbfamilylaw.com\/services\/divorce\/\">divorce<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gbfamilylaw.com\/services\/child-custody\/\">custody<\/a>&nbsp;cases. Following college, Mona started her career in the film and television industry in Los Angeles.
